Same web page all the time

Hello Guy and Gals, here is my problem. no matter what web address i put in the address window it takes me to this one search page "about:blank". on the top of about:blank page it says "we could not find "www.nkvd.us/1525/what ever address i put into the address bar. For example i tried to use the netscape browser but it took me to the about:blank search page and on the top it says sorry we could not find www.nkvd.us/1525/netscape.com. some how i've managed to get to lavasoft and tried to get the adware software but the computer operation is so slow from all the junk that i cant get off that the adware wont download. I can't even get into my email from my yahoo home page.

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
