Hi there i have had this issue for a while now and no matter what i have tried i cant seem to resolve it.I am not an expert but i feel i can do basic things but im really puzzled by this and any advice would be very much appreciated . I can get up in the morning and turn pc on , when the initial screen comes up with the key option to enter set up it just freezes and the hard drive will not start to boot system. The whole system just seems to freeze and i cant even enter the set up . If i then press and hold power button to shutdown and reboot again it seems to boot fine although sometimes i may have the option screen appear saying windows was not shut down properly and i select last known good config and it boots fine . This is going to sound strange but it only seems to happen when i first turn the pc on every day. During the day i can restart any time and it boots fine . It just seems to happen when the pc is cold if you understand what i mean. I have run register repair tools , infact a few of them. I have also booted from vista disc and tried the boot up repair option and nothing was found i am starting to think maybe its a hard drive issue but it still does not explain why it only happens at the first start up of every day when the pc has been turned off for a good few hours. Am very confused and any advice would be very much appreciated . Thank you
