Okay guys, first of all, hi. New here, just looking for an expert or two who can point me in the right direction of what parts to get for my computer next.

I know a few things but not nearly enough, I'm sure, to effectively get more parts for ol' Betsy.

I have a pretty old stock motherboard I want to replace with an i7 950 compatible/crossfire ready motherboard

and i obviously want to get the i7 950 cpu

for now i just want to get those two things so the question i'm really asking is what motherboard do i get!!!

i have a gtx 470 graphics card i'm keeping, and 750 watts of power. i also have a custom soundcard i wanna keep, if anyone can suggest a motherboard under 500 dollars i would really appreciate it!

sorry if i sound like a noob ^^^ and i appreciate any feedback, thanks! bye

Hi.

Even thought there is an issue with Intel P67 boards at the moment, some info for a possible Sandy Bridge build.
