I am trying to get one specific font off my old computer and put on my new one, but I can not copy it and paste it anywhere and I'm confused as to how to get this done.

My old PC is Vista and my newer PC is Win7 ... the font is Bergell.

How can I transfer it or am I doing something wrong?

On the Vista PC, go into the "Fonts" folder at C:\Windows\Fonts

Right-click the font file you want and choose "Copy"

Now plug in a usb thumb-drive, open it in Windows, right-click in the thumb-drive window and choose "Paste"
The font should now appear on the thumb-drive.

Plug the thumb-drive into your Win7 PC, open it in a window & right-click the font file and choose "Copy"
Open the "Fonts" folder on the Win7 PC, right-click an empty area & choose "Paste".
The font should now be in the Win7 fonts folder and will appear in any font listing within an appropriate application.
