I'm upgrading to windows 7 64bit pretty soon and I have run into a snag. Dell doesn't make windows 7 drivers for my brand of Monitor.

My Monitor is a dell E228WFP and the driver updates are for Vista only.

So does this mean my monitor won't work with my new OS?

That's the exact same monitor I use on one of my repair benches. It's worked fine with every Windows desktop and laptop that's been plugged into it. All flavors of XP on up through 7 Ultimate 64-bit. If your video adapter can handle a resolution of 1680x1050, you're set.

So I don't need the dell drivers?

I'm guessing the Windows PNP driver will work just fine.

You don't need drivers for monitors.
It'll be fine.
