Ok I got to the Recovery console but I have no option just type exit to quit

hey i just wanted to let you know that since i dont keep anything on this old notebook i just decided to reinstall windows. it took me a couple of days but it is online and downloading advast now. thanks for all your help.

Please be assured that this is not a good idea, from YOUR point of view - as a remedy offered on one of the threads MAY be completely at odds with something recommmended on the other thread..

Neither is it helpful to anyone assisting you.
