hey i just wanted to let you know that since i dont keep anything on this old notebook i just decided to reinstall windows. it took me a couple of days but it is online and downloading advast now. thanks for all your help.Hmm sounds like you pressed R at the wrong time.

Unless I am mistaken and I do not think I am, you have been running two threads at the same time for the same computer. This ONE and the one I was working on HERE at this link..
