Transcribe Scans?

Slight contradiction here. You say they're text images and text documents. If it's plain text you should be able to copy and paste.

Sorry... these images are scans of a page full of text/words.

Someone just sent me an email that quoted this: "Open Microsoft Document Imaging... Open your .tif file... Click on the icon that looks like a piece of paper and a blue W... This will attempt to "read" the text. You MUST proof-read very carefully... The worse the .jpg, the worse the conversion will be. 1's look like I's, O's... like 0's, And those are the easy ones to spot."

You need OCR software.
