set up fast wireless on 6 yr old laptop?

i have an old toshiba satellite laptop, windows xp, with an intel® pro/wireless 2200bg network card. what do i need to do to use a new "n" router so i can better stream video content?

If you have a spare USB port, you can buy a little plug in Wireless adapter then tell Windows to use that connection.
