I'm not sure if this is the right area, if it has to do with the platform, the server or the browser but here it comes.

We've installed Joomla on our staging environment and although it's working beautifully on the development environment or another server, this one is playing up since the weekend.

So far every day around 11am, the site goes down with the following error:

The webpage at http://staging.client-name.org/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error.

This happens on all browsers but only the front-end, not the joomla content management system where I can logon as normal and add/edit pages.

Usually after about 1.5 hour the site suddenly comes back up as if nothing had happened.... I'm lost!

Please note it's not the right URL as the site is now back up again and I'm not sure if you need it - if it helps, let me know and I'll post it.

Has anyone come across this and knows where to start trouble shooting?
