Could use some help here.

Replaced the motherboard in wife's desktop but, having a loading issue. I can get all the way to the windows did not start successfully screen and every option I select just brings me right back to the same screen.

Some things that I have noticed is that a blue screen will flash with something on it but, not really sure what it says if anything.

There are 2 HDD's in the computer and both connected I tried switching the boot sequence to see if I had accidentally plugged them in incorrectly. All that got me was a message saying that a dll file was missing.

The HDD's are connected through a 80 wire IDE cable.
The new motherboard is BIOSTAR MCP6PB M2+N68S combo with a sempron proc.
BIOS recognizes both drives.

How can I get out of this loop without doing a wipe of the HDD's and a clean install?

If you replaced your motherboard and have not done a clean install of windows then it will for sure not work, all your boot sectors are configured to work with the specs and drivers of your previous motherboard.

So unless i am wrong in the assumption that you did not do a fresh install you will have to erase by formating your old windows installation on your HD that was for your old motherboard and reinstall a fresh windows installation that will work with your new motherboard.
