Hello everybody,i have intel core2duo e7500 2.93ghz and it's good but i need more powerful processor for gaming and programming,my motherboard support core 2 duo,quad,extreme. (45nm) (asus p5g41t- mlx)

How powerful you want to go will depend on how much money you want to spend.

Good gaming performance depends on a good balance between the CPU and the video card.

If you do decide to upgrade the video you should also make sure the PSU is powerful enough.
