I was recently directing a friend on how to install virus and spyware removal tools and use them. (McAffe and SpySweeper) Now the computer won't boot. It won't even display anything on the screen (we've tested different monitors/cables). Is this possibly due to the tools we installed, or is it a hardware issue?

Thanks.

Hi realitybend,

Welcome to Geekstogo.

It does looks like a hardware issue. I suggest you head to the Hardware, Components and Peripherals if the PC still won't boot – they will be able to provide better advice on your possible course of action.
