My friend purchased a new laptop. She did not get a disk for reinstalling her system should it crash. How can I make a copy of her computer and get everything reinstalled back to factory settings if this should happen. She has an hp with windows 7.

If you need more info I will get it from her. Thanks for your time.

Check the owners manual as there should be a recovery partition on the hard drive.
The manual will tell you how to make a set of recovery disks before doing anything else with the system.
