Unwanted pop-ups

Hi Render,
My disc arrived this morning and I have istalled it.
I am having trouble getting connected to the internet.
I am using a wired Netgear ASDL modem router, it's working fine on this laptop.
I have all 3 lights on the router on fine.
Apparently the 10/100 Mbps ethernet card drivers are installed correctly.
Is that something you can help with or should I go to another section of this site?

I'm glad that you are up and running. There are quite a few approach here like ethernet, PPPoE etc. I recommend you to call your ISP's help desk. They should provide you with information from first hand.
