I have a hard drive in the mail for my Toshiba Satellite 1400-S152. Here's what I have inline to install.

Windows XP w/ SP2
Mozilla Firefox
OpenOffice
Adaware
Spybot
AVG
LogMeIn
AIM
GIMP

What are some tips to keep my laptop running fast and smooth, Do's and don'ts? Maybe some software suggestions?
