I have an Dell Inspiron E1505. I recently replaced the LCD and Inverter (both BAD) and now the brightness on the screen is wacky. like set at 10% is more like 30% and 80% is like 100% and 100% is like 50% so thats basically me saying that the brightness is all over the place when i adjust it. should i be worried? is there a fix to this? im thinking about trying another inverter.. should i waste the time or leave it as is?

Depends on who replaced it. If a shop did it, take it back and tell them to fix it right. If you did it and if it is not changing brightness on its own, and you can set it where you want it, I would leave it.
