Hi Geekstogo,

I bought a Sony Vaio Desktop with 2 partitions (C: - 27.9 Gb, and D: - 151 Gb) a fortnight ago, and after installing programs and adding countless files to My Documents, realised that the pre-installed software, and the drive I was using i.e. C:, was the partition with the least ammount of space, so made rescue disks, and moved 'My Documents to D:, with the intention of either increasing the C: partition size, or moving everything to D:.

Being very wary on the right way to do this, I moved My Documents back, consulted several forums, and searched widely with the hope of finding a fool proof step by step guide on doing this, but to no avail, so haven't yet.

My problem now is that, intermittently, within about a minute or so after starting up, I can't open Internet Explorer, My Documents, or any other program except for Outlook Express - not even Windows Explorer with the windows key and E!

Since this only happens 2 times out of three, I figured it may be some mal, ad, spyware, hidden trojan, or something else bad, so I followed the steps indicated on this forum to the letter, and it does seem better, but to be sure, please have a look at my HijackThislog, as I am sure it will happen again..
