I'm in the process of completing my first book and have need of some direction in changing page numbers in Open Office Writer. Publishers require the author's name and page number at the top left of each page.

I've started each chapter in a new document, and need to continue the page numbering from the previous chapter. For example, if Chapter 1 had 20 pages, then Chapter 2 (in a seperate document) needs to begin with page 21.

I've tried the OpenOffice.org help and support pages, but can't seem to get the "Change Page Number" feature to work. It's 'shadowed' out and apparently unavailable.

Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated.
