I am getting a "This device cannot start. (Code 10) for my Garminfone Droid.

I also tried my brothers phone which is a droid, but not the same and it gives the same result.

Is this a USB port issue?

If so any ideas how to fix it?

Did the phone come with a software installation disk and if yes have you installed the software to your PC.
Do other hardware components function correctly when connected to the same USB ports?

Is this a USB port issue?

Possibly but most likely a driver or other software issue.

If so any ideas how to fix it?

Depends on the answers to the above questions.

I am having no problems connecting flash drives and I keep getting the same message for two different android phones.

I go to the device manager, under universal serial bus controllers, there is a yellow warning in one of the USB mass storage Device and dbl click
General tab - "This device cannot star. (Code 10)"
Driver tab
- Driver Details button - "c:\Windows\system32\drivers\USBSTOR.SYS"
- Update button - "windows has determined that your driver software is up to date"

I have connected my Garminfone to other computers and they work just fine without installing any drivers. I can't figure out what to do.
