Flash streams won't work

I have a Windows 7 laptop which quit allowing flash videos to work. I am using IE 8 and adobe flash 10.2. I have tried the troubleshooting tips on the Adobe website and have searched your website for similar problems. I do not suspect Malware but could be a possibility. What am I missing? Thanks.
