I need some help guys. I had to boot from a windows xp disc and now I lost all the drivers that came on the computer. I managed to go to HP's website and install some of them but a lot of them are giving me trouble saying I don't have a UAA BUs installed. I still have two drivers with yellow question marks next to them that I can't find then. One is "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus" and the other is "Ethernet Controller". You could probably guess the two things that aren't working on my computer is the sound and the ethernet port. Oh yeah my computer is a HP Pavilion 7210n with Windows XP Professional as the operating system. Here is a link to it on HP's website. http://h10025.www1.h...823/loc:0&cc=us

Thanks for the help in advance!

Do you mean that you did a reinstall of XP, a repair install of Xp or what please.
You are very l;ikely now back to XP as it was on the CD.
That is why you have these issues.

The LAN is integrated on the motherboard,
Network (LAN)Integrated 10/100 Base-T networking interface
download from the heading - original drivers-the chipset drivers.

I think reinstall would be the correct term. I booted from the disc and installed it over my previous copy of xp.

I cannot understand HOW following a clean install of XP and updating it back to SP3 you do not now have the Universal Audio Architecture Bus driver installed it would install with XP and be updated with all the updates and service packs you had to do after the install from the CD. WAS THIS A Microsoft Xp CD or an HP reinstall disc. Have you reinstalled, did you have to do all the updates, or was it a software recovery CD or the like from HP.
You must know - what it was you used and what procedure you went through.
See this link if it offers you the hotifx try it.

If that does not work go back to the HP site here and search the offered downloads for the one that covers your model.

YOU HAVE I presume downloaded the audio drivers.

The hotfix couldn't solve anything. And when I install that sound driver I receive the error message : Your system does not have Microsoft's Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio bus driver installed. You must install this driver before installing the realtek high definition audio drivers. You can obtain the UAA HD audio bus driver from Microsoft.

We already knew that your system reports the the Microsoft UAA driver is NOT installed.
It should have been installed with the updates and the Service Packs.
The first quote is from my post after "If this does not work"
The second quote is HAVE you installed that audio driver.
You wil have to search that link I sent you for the UAA driver, I do not have the time to go throyugh all of the HP site for your computer.
