It's my neighbors computer, but I'm having a look at it for him. He said he hadn't installed anything recently or downloaded anything that would cause it to have a problem, he only mentioned that Firefox had updated. It's an XP machine, what I did was (and I know a lot of you are probably going to say this was useless and could have caused more damage) but I used CCleaner to "clean up" the registry and temporary files (I created a registry backup before, of course) because I was thinking maybe the Firefox update somehow messed up the registry or something. I also ran ChkDsk. I don't think it's freezing because of malware (the Hijackthis log looked fine, and he has latest version of Avast free edition). I also opened up the PC and blew the dust out, in case it was overheating because of the dust.

So basically, what I wan't to know is, what things can cause a PC to randomly freeze? I think I looked at everything (other than testing the PSU, RAM, Mobo, etc, but these seem fine). Also, I ran OTL, and if someone could look over the files I've attached that would be awesome! Thanks!
