i am expiriancing viral behavior from the computrace module in my bios. when i first got the computer i contacted the company to disable and perminantly remove the bios persistance module and uninstall the software. recentlly i have caught the service for this software running on my computer again. the switch in my bios says that the module is disabled and inoperative just like the tech told me it would be after the next phone home attempt. i have also checked the boot sector of my harddrive and the persistance module is not even installed there. so my question is has a hacker or somne other entity managed to gain controll of this module through a backdoor and do they have access to my system ????

also why is the persistance still active when the bios module has been disabled by the master server. i think my computer may be compromised
