I have had a Ning blog going for some time before Ning decided to start charging. Not wanting to pay I stopped my blog.

Of course I want to retrieve all the blogs previously written so used Ning's archiving tool to reclaim them. However all the information is in .json format.

How do I convert this to something that I can read, perhaps through Word, .pdf and .jpeg (for the photos) or similar?

According to this website, you should be able to open it with notepad:http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/json

Or open in FireFox and then export as HTML: http://forums.mozill...?f=38&t=1054655

Thank you. Firefox doesn't want to work but I have at least exported the data to TextEdit for later experiments.
