I've not long built a computer but been having a few problems that i've fixed however whenever i try to install windows xp i keep on getting

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down

Techinal information
STOP: 0x0000007E (0x0000005, OXF748E0BF, OXF78DA208, 0XF78D9F08)

Any one know how to fix it?

my spec

Intel Dual Core 2.8
Gigabyte GA-G41MT-ES2L Motherboard
4 GB ram
wireless network card
80GB hard drive (from old computer with windows xp)(IDE)
22x SATA Lg dvd drive
400W PSU
