Any incoming e-mail with a PPS file attachment responds with a "this file does not have a program associated with it" to create an association for it in the folders option in the control panel.
I have no idea what this means or how to proceed. The PPS is listed in the file extension listing, and the Power Point Viewer is located on the system in "all program" startup
Anyone know whats going on?

Welcome to Geeks2Go!

Save the 'pps' (Powerpoint Slide Show) attachment to a folder or to your desktop.
Right-click it and choose "Open with..."
Now select "choose default program" from the context-menu.

Choose "Powerpoint Viewer" from the list of applications and make sure "always use this program to open this type of file" is ticked.
