Windows Backup & Restore, del old backups?

I am running Windows backup and restore to a 16gb flash drive. After a while it fills up.
Is there anyway to either manually delete old copies or have it just keep the last 10 copies or whatever?
All I can think to do is delete everything on the drive and start over, but that can't be right.
