I had a blue screen took it 2 get looked @ they told me it was fine now I turn it on and I get a black screen with a blinking line

Depending on what the arrangement was, your most proper course of action is to take it back and tell them it most clearly is NOT. Especially if this was a business arrangement.

Its a gateway nv59c has windows 7

Have not looked to see how old this computer may be, but IF its under warrantry or an extended care arrangement my advice is - as above.

The more you try the more you stand the risk of the supplier/repairer etc. denying responsibility.

I have now looked quickly and as far as I can see Gateway only introduced that model in late April 2010.
If that IS the case my advice above is EVEN more relevant.
