gateway laptop will not boot has blank blinking cursor screen

My 6 month old laptop has a blank frozen blinking cursor screen.
I have tried the system recovery cd twice with no luck.
I have tried reseating the hard drive which the computer does recognize.
I only have two options F2 system bios and F12 boot screen.



Any help is greatly appreciated.:D

SaMe thing Is goin on with mine call gateway@ 866-447-0520 they couldn't fix mine over the phone but maybe u will hav better luck
