I am a member of Shockwave unlimited & I download lots of games (and uninstall when finished w/game for space sake). However, there are some games that, although I meet the requirements, the games dont run or play correctly. Once installed, the game will load but I only get a black screen, no graphics. I can hear the game (music & whatnot) but cant play it. Then my resolution screen comes up on the taskbar saying that the resolution is not optimal for my computer.

I have tried everything, but nothing works

Pls help. Shockwave has tried to help but got me nowhere.

I don't know if you've found an answer yet, but I was having the same problem. In my case, I suddenly got the "Black Screen of Nothingness" for all shockwave.com games. This only occurred on shockwave, not other game sites. After uninstalling and re-installing and spending several days of frustration, I resolved the issue by changing the stored data limit on Flash Settings Manager: http://www.macromedi..._manager03.html

Go to the Website Storage Settings panel tab in Manager and search through the visited websites. When you find shockwave.com, click to highlight it and enter a "limit." I entered 100kb. While playing shockwave games had never been an issue before, apparently the limit somehow got reset to "none." This resolved the issue for me. Hope it helps you too.
