I have a macbook connected to a professional sound system with a Mackie 16 channel mixer, dual 1400watt amplifier, two 12inch bagend monitors and two 12inch bagend speakers. It sounds great if I run the music this way but when I connect a TV to play Karaoke files via VGA cable I get a loud buzzing sound with the music. any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds as a wire-problem to me...
Try to replace the VGA-cable with another one.
