Samsung ML-2510 printer problem

I have a Samsung ML-2510 printer & am getting an error between every page printed (with a long pause between printed pages). The message appears in a panel in the lower right of my monitor & states "Press the cancel button (manual feed mode)...Please refer to the troubleshooting guide". The guide indicates that the toner cartridge may need replacing amoun other things. I replaced the cartridge. The condition is intermittant. The print continues without my intervention but takes longer than expected because of the pauses between pages. I have Windows XP. My printer is attached to 7-Port High Speed USB Hub w/ Power Adapter but my PC is only a 1.0 USB card.
