my system was infected with a Virus, which leads IE to Qsearch page ( ) which looks like GOOGLE Page.
This has blocked Run window and folder options and many others
it normally lets me open Google page and search anything else, but if im trying to search
for words as virus, cleaning, remove virus this closes the entire browser
it has applied Administrative restrictions on opening admin tools in windows,
due to which it will not let me install any programs such as spyware antivirus from google updater
programs as well....it just closes the installation window
Can Anybody kindly tell me what VIRUS is this ??? .. Please reply asap ..
even i dont know any thing about Qsearch how it came in my computer...

it first entered in my laptop which is Windows 7 premium and then i use pen drive and entered in my desktop which uses Windows XP

Hi, :D

It may be a rogue Virus Application.

Please download RogueKiller to your desktop

  • Quit all running programs
  • For Vista/Seven, right click -> run as administrator, for XP simply run RogueKiller.exe
  • When prompted, type 1 and validate
  • The RKreport.txt shall be generated next to the executable.
  • If the program is blocked, do not hesitate to try several times. If it really does not work (it could happen), rename it to winlogon.exe

Please post the contents of the RKreport.txt in your next Reply.
