Not sure if this is the right place to post, but was wondering if anybody had an opinion on a good value on a new computer. was thinking of getting a new computer with refund money. is now a good time to buy or is there a better time? anybody know of a good deal? currently have a dell dimension 3000. will most likely need a monitor also as we will probably let our daughter use the old one. wife uses our computer for transcription work and some browsing. we dont really play to many games. we would just like a newer, faster computer

thanks for any help

Based on your planned usage here are a couple of suggestions;
PC: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16883220057 Good spec and plenty of upgrade options should you suddenly become a hardcore gamer or 3D designer. $371.99 + $22.08 shipping = $394.07
Monitor: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16824236052 Again good specs, bargain price, 100% 1,442 positive feedback results + a free gift. $179.99 + $8.99 shipping = $188.98.

$394.07
$188.98
$583.05 Total
