IE 8 Stops Working, Data Execution Prevention

Here are the symptons:

In IE 8:

Every few minutes IE message comes up "IE has stopped working."
Then "tab has been recovered."
Then "Data Execution Program has blocked a script"

Microsoft updates cannot be updated.

Also, pages load very, very slowly.
Also, text boxes hang-up. For example, as I started to type this, I had to pause between letters and retype many letters after long pauses.

Has infected second wireless network computer.
Help!@?
