Purpose: Gaming
Resolution: 1980x1080 or 1600x900
Overclocking: Maybe
Peripherals: 32" Vizio LCD 1080 60hz
Wireless Keyboard, Microsoft Mouse, Turtle Beach X21, Wacom Tablet
Recycled Parts: 500W Power Supply, 250GB WD HDD, Three Fans (top, back, side), ATI Radeon HD 5770, Sony DVD-ROM
Case: Full Tower

I want to pick out pieces myself instead of buying a whole new computer. I'm looking at few things but I want to make sure I'll have everything I need before buying. This is what I'm looking towards:

BUYING:
Intel Motherboard P67 LGA 1155
Intel Core i5-2500K LGA 1155 95W

I plan on getting Windows 7 and installing that. My concerns are whether my power supply, HDD, and DVD-ROM will all hook up accordingly. Also if I need to buy a new heatsink for the CPU. And if there is anything else I need to make sure I do before buying.
