My computer crashed years ago but I managed to back up My Documents. I've never been able to read them though that I can remember since I burned that CD in 2006. My computer recognizes what types they are, and says BMP file or JPG file and stuff like that, and they're all different sizes. They're all the exact same size they were when I lost them. But there aren't any thumbnails and if I try to read it it just says it can't be read

Is there a way to fix this? There has to be..

I could upload a broken image file if you guys could analyze it or something idk I don't understand computer stuff very well haha
