what is the difference in processors? i want to get a new computer but wanted to find out what is the difference in processors. we are planning to get acers brand cpu. and these are what we are trying to find out. Acer black AX3400-U4802 desktop pc with AMD Athon 2 X2 dual-core 255 processor with 1tb hard drive and 4gb memory, acer black Aspire AX3910-U4022 desktop pc with intel pentium E5800 processor with 1tb hard drive and 4gb memory, and
last one is acer black AM3400-B4052 desktop pc with amd athon2 X4 645 processor with 6gb memory and 1tb harddrive.

so which would be better? thanks for any help.

Define "better"? What are your uses for the machine and what is your budget (and pricing for each one)?

Depending on your needs you may find the most powerful on would be overkill and just hurt your budget too much. Or it might be exactly what you need.

The main differences as far as the average consumer should be concerned about are price and performance. When it comes to laptops, especially, heat output (correlated with power consumption, in watts), can be important to consider.

For people on a budget, the Athlon II often provides by far, the most bang for the buck.

As you can see here, the Athlon II performs just slightly under the Phenom II, and costs 70-100% less, depending on the specific model. The Phenom II is also equal, or a bit better when it comes to cost vs. performance, compared to the intel i5/7.

the first one on there is 529.00 and the rest is 600.00. the computer would be mostly use for nancy drew video game and use for pictures and music and going online for paying bills and etc. so which you think is best. no more than 800 to spend. thanks.
