I have not had my computer turned on for a few months. When I finally turned it on, a lot of updates needed to be done, which I was already prepared for. But ever since the updates my computer has been running extremely slow. I also have recently downloaded Firefox, but when I did so the first time an error message popped up... I can't remember what it read or said... but at the same time I was trying to do an update with Java and Java had an error on it as well. Ever since then my computer has been running slow and acting funny... I'm even blocked out of a website I go to almost everyday. The webpage says Internal server error. However, that's only on my firefox. When I can open my Internet explorer (which is a pain in the [bleep] because I have to go the long way - file folders, etc. because somehow firefox has taken over IE on my computer.) Either way I'm extremely tempted to do a recovery of my last shut down from the months ago, but I'm afraid if I already have a virus or something that it'll do no good. I'm really not sure what has happened, and I'm not much of a computer person to be honest. If someone could please help me I would appreciate it... thank you.

OH and I'm using the full Kaspersky Anti-Virus program... bought and paid for in 2009, but could it also be out of date or something?
