I got the service manual for my laptop downloaded and printed today. I will by attempted the test you have posted tomorrow.
I post the results.

Sorry for my mistake but if this is a laptop then the test I posted will not work.
I apologize for the confusion. Have you been able to resolve the issue by other means or is it still happening
