I am using a Toshiba laptop. I recently installed Norton 2011 to clean my laptop. After doing a full system scan I was asked to reboot. Which I did. It has since been impossible to login. I keep getting logged in. I undestand that the problem is somewhere in the regedit as Norton identified it in C:/windows/system32. I have tried the below option of rebooting with the boot CD and using the recovery console. I get the following result:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32>copy userinit.exe wsaupdater.exe
The systen cannot find the file specified.

What do I do now? I am desperate. Thank you.
