can't connect to itunes

Everything's worked until the last couple of months or so. I keep getting a message that it can't connect to itunes... to check my connection. Everything's fine... I'm posting here... everything else works.

Anyone have a solution?
I'm on a new mac. My firewalls are off and I don't have any other antivirus software that I know of.
