Slow Computer ; Applications hang

Hi
My computer has become very slow in the past week, all the applications hang before they respond.CPU usage is either 100% or 98% all the time, and I find new/wierd processes in the task manager.Everytime I run Spybot it detects some spyware which I fix (using the fix button in Spybot), but the problem persists.My antivirus(Avast) does not detect anything.Plz help.
