Hello there.

I've recently got a new computer and I've always liked movie making. My previous attempts were recorded in FRAPS and made in Windows Movie Maker. They were very amateur. I would like to take it to the next level but I have no clue where to start.

I'm not sure of what software I would need so I was wondering if the community could give me some tips and hints. I have a creative imagination so I believe I would be a good at it.

My current mini movies are on YouTube under the username of SimondoTube.

Hi mate,

If you want free software then you would need to start finding something that suits. A good place to start is http://sourceforge.net/

Otherwise if you want to step it up and can't find anything free then you'll need to move on to a paid movie editing program.
