Hello.

Me and a friend bought Splinter Cell: Conviction to play the coop mode. However we cant seem to get it working. We've tried various things but nothing seems to work. We tried using Hamatchi (although I dont know if we did it correctly). Also we tried editing some ports on my router but that didnt work either.

Proper confused as to why it wont connect =[

Any ideas?

Thanks.

We both have legit copies bought of steam

Hi mate, sorry for the delay.

I don't have the game myself, but what else have you done to sort this? Have you installed any and all available patches for the game? Have you created an exception in the firewall to allow the game to pass? Or disabled the firewall temporarily for testing?

Cheers

Hello.

I had actually given up hope! The support from Ubisoft is terrible.

My game is upto date. As if my friends. I have created exceptions and temp disabled firewalls too. I even tried fowarding ports. Its really frustrating because I only bought this game to play it coop with a friend.

Thanks

Okay just another random question here, but my point is to check if the networking is all set up correctly.

Can you each create a share and then access each other's share?

Dont really know what you mean! We're not on LAN. Its online. We tried using this program to create a LAN effect but I dont think it worked. Really confused.

Cheers,

Simondo.
