Might be the wrong forum, but here goes.

So i was working on a program called Final Draft, and had typed several pages when it crashed (not responding). I used task manager and created a dump file which i located and saved. Now of course i can't open that file cause it says "unexpected file format". I'm wondering how i may restore/extract/convert this DMP file (which is of the appropriate size, so i'm guessin the info's in there) into a file final draft can load.

Is there any hope?

ps. my geekness is moderate amongst the general populace, but certain amateur versus you folks, so bare with me if I don't understand how to follow you instructions.
