A couple of weeks ago, woke up to an infected system. Tried to go over it with hijackthis. Won't let me download avast etc. Ran recovery but started getting .dll error messages again. Now when jumping on the 'net through Firefox, getting a popup scan saying there are viruses etc. You know the drill. Thought I'd try this to see if I could finally get rid of what is on here.

Other than that, I don't know much other than the usual ways to get rid of simple things on an infected machine. This is far beyond me. Any help would be appreciated!
