Have you had any Blue Screen of Death.
Does it freeze when loading Windows or when browsing, or when gaming or other graphic using applications, such as streaming music etc.
What are the messages -what do they say,

All the magicians are busy, only normal advisors are available so we need more detailPosted Image

1.Go My Computer, right click the hard drive click properties - pls post drive capacity and free space.

2. Do this please the manual method of clean boot and ONLY proceed to and including step 3. Do not proceed to step 4.
http://support.micro....com/kb/310353/
After carrying out the instructions, reboot, you will rceive a message saying that the system is running in slective startup, simply click to check the small box -Do not show this message again.

3. Go Programs , Accessories, System tools, Disk Defrag, click analyse - post % of fragmentation please.
If more than 7% download this
http://www.auslogics...re/disk-defrag/
ONLY THE defrag NOT the auslogics boost.
NEVER ON ANY COMPUTER run registry cleaners, boosters, make it go faster programs, they are frequently useless, sometimes dangerous to the health of the computer and
can even ruin it to the state where the only option is to reinstall the operating system. See the My Link on my signature notes for the opinion of an expert.
When you have the auslogis defrag. RUN the program on the C drive. presuming that is the main drive letter.
It is far quicker than the windows defrag.

Please click http://www.trendmicr.../HijackThis.exe to download and install HijackThis.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile from the Main Menu.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next reply.

IMPORTANT: Do not fix anything

Then please go back to HiJack and this time, click Main Menu at the bottom, then click Miscellaneous tools which is top right, then click Open uninstall Manager, click Save List.
Copy and paste the list please.

PLEASE copy and paste both as actual open lists, not an attachment which I have to open.

Thank you.
It will of course take sometime to examine these logs.
I will post a first reply in about two hours from now.

The first analysis did not take all that long you have
1.C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\AvastSvc.exe
2.C:\Program Files\ThreatFire\TFTray.exe
3.C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe
4.DriverScanner] "C:\Program Files\Uniblue\DriverScanner\launcher.exe" delay 20000

Avast is a GOOD RECOGNISED ANTI-VIRUS. However it is quite intrusive at times. How much ram is installed please. Start, right click My Computer, click Properties - it will tell you on the general tab - which is the one it will open on.

Threat Fire - You do not, despite the suggestion that this CAN BE RUN with an anti-virus want the TWO running together. Personally I do not like Threat Fire, it does not impress me, having had a look at it and having explored its capabilities I rate it as dangerous unless you completely understand the implications of running its various aspects.
In fact the site itself warns of this when it cautions against removing perceived threats as they be false positives.

SAS - Good program mothing wrong with it and recommended here on Geeks to Go.

Driver Scanner - Uniblue
http://www.mywot.com...ard/uniblue.com
Read this re Uniblue - most of their software is of extremely doubtful usefulness.
Driver scanner like any other automated service offering to scan and provide you with the CORRECT updated driver is unwanted and frequently fails in its very purpose - the reason they are NOT the correct drivers.
ONLY EVER obtain your drivers from either the computer manufacturer - ie Dell etc. or the item manufacturer ie: a grahics card, wireless USB etc. OR each manufacturer in the case of a generic build.
Even Microsoft Update has been known to offer under Custom updates - hardware - the wrong driver.

My advice
Uninstall threat Fire - using Control Panel Add/Remove Programs - from what I read this may prove very difficult.
BEFORE DOING THIS check the quarantine list of threat fire - if you have used that, rather than the delete and restore the items removed.

Uninstall Driver scanner and if you have used it for any drivers
Go start, msconfig and click to restart in Normal startup - that is click to check that circle and then click apply and OK and reboot.
Go as before for the ram and this time click on the hardware tab and then click the device manager button
Are there any errors listed.

I will post another advice after examining the reat of the log.
It will centre on startup items and BHO`s.
Pls reply with the ram and how you have progressed.

In view of your last post I can no longer deal with this matter.I suspect that you have some malware on your computer causing issues that we are not able to solve through means we can use here in the Tech Forums.
You need the assistance of a certified Malware Removal expert.
Please go to this link
