Hi everyone,,
I have this seagate portable harddisk 500gb, but cant read it from w/explorer since I unplug while it processing transaction.
I cant see it in w/explorer, but I can see the disk drives in device manager.
Another problem is wherever I plug this portable hardisk before another device (i.e flashdrive), the device wont detected, but detected after I unplug the portable harddisk.
any help would be apreciated..
thanx

I sounds like the Master File Table (MFT) has corrupted - this probably means you have lost the data. Is the drive listed in My Computer with a drive letter? Can you get to that drive letter in DOS?

One tool I've used is http://www.easeus.com/- or a quick google found where you may be able to get it back.http://www.grc.com/spinrite.htm though I've not used that one myself.

Good Luck!
