Please read these instructions carefully and print them out! Be sure to follow ALL instructions!

Please RIGHT-CLICK: HERE and go to Save As (in Internet Explorer it's "Save Target As") in order to download Grinler's reg file. Save it to your desktop.

Please post a new HiJackThis log into this topic.

In the meantime, go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove:

Norton Antivirus

When you "fixed" the Norton items in HiJackThis it didn't remove the program from your system it just removed some items from startup.

When you go to Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs is there anything listed for Symantec?

First, I need you to right click on the desktop and go to New > Folder - click on it and name it whatever you want. Locate HiJackThis.exe on the desktop right click on it and go to "cut", then go into the folder you just made and click "paste". This is to ensure backups are saved and accessible.

Make sure you are disconnected from the Internet and that all programs and windows are closed. Run HiJackThis. Place a check next to the following items and click FIX CHECKED:

O3 - Toolbar: MSN Search Toolbar - {BDAD1DAD-C946-4A17-ADC1-64B5B4FF55D0} - C:\Program Files\MSN Toolbar Suite\TB\02.01.0000.2214\en-us\msntb.dll (file missing)

O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.r...ip/RdxIE601.cab
O16 - DPF: {9522B3FB-7A2B-4646-8AF6-36E7F593073C} (cpbrkpie Control) - http://a19.g.akamai....23/cpbrkpie.cab

Close HiJackThis.

* Run Killbox.exe.

* Select "Delete on Reboot".

* Open the Notepad file where you saved these instructions earlier, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them then press CTRL + C

C:\WINDOWS\NDNuninstall*.exe
C:\WINDOWS\gator*.log
C:\WINDOWS\System32\osmim.dll
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\CONFLICT.1\HDPlugin1019.dll
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\HDPlugin1019.dll
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\HDPlugin1019.inf
C:\WINDOWS\GatorHDPlugin.log
C:\WINDOWS\NDNuninstall6_38.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\osmim.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rk.bin
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rk.exe

* Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

* Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt. If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

After your computer reboots, post a new HiJackThis log and let me know how it's running!!
